Cloudflare is just like ngrok. You can also use Cloudflare for port forwarding. So in this tutorial, we will learn how we can install and use Cloudflare in termux in a very simple way. We will also learn how we can create tunnels using Cloud Ignite.

In 2022, port forwarding is very important and also very difficult in smartphones. Before 2022 we generally use Ngrok for port forwarding on our phone in Termux. But now we can’t forward phishing pages using ngrok. So what we do is nothing more than to find another ngrok alternative and so far Cloudflare is the only best ngrok alternative. And in this post, we will learn how to install and use cloudflared in Termux 2022 with simple steps. Install Cloudflare

What is Cloudflare: 

Cloudflared is the best ngrok alternative. cloudflared is a way for us to expose our Termux local network globally. Like we could make our phishing links available globally with cloudflared.

Cloudflared is a web performance and security company. They provide a content delivery network, DDoS protection, web security, and DNS services.

Cloudflared was founded in 2009 by Lee Holloway and Matthew Prince. It was initially called Project Honey Pot, but the name was changed to Cloudflare in 2010. The company has been profitable since 2014. Cloudflare’s basic service is free, making it an attractive option for small businesses and individual bloggers. Cloudflared also offers a paid plan that includes additional features such as website malware protection and the ability to ban IP addresses.

Cloudflare, Inc. is an American content delivery network and DDoS mitigation company founded in 2010. It acts as a reverse proxy between a website visitor and a Cloudflared customer’s hosting provider. Its headquarters are in San Francisco, California. Install Cloudflare

 

What is Port Forwarding :

Port forwarding is the process of allowing remote computers to connect to a specific computer or service on a local network. This is done by redirecting traffic from one port on the router to another port on the target computer.

 

Manually Install

Installation & Setup 

Here we will learn how we can install Cloudflared in termux. Installing Cloudflared in termux is quite easy so follow the steps below step by step.

Step_ 1:- Now open the termux application and update the termux packages

pkg update && pkg upgrade -y

Step_ 2:- Installing the new wget package in termux wget is a Linux command line tool that can be used to download files or entire web pages. It is a very versatile tool and can be used for various purposes like downloading files for offline use, mirroring websites, or downloading data from websites.

pkg install wget git -y

 

 

Step_ 3:- Now open your web browser and open a new website whose link is given below.

CloudFlared

Just copy and paste the link into your browser and hit enter. Go to the Assets section and you will find different Cloudflared files for different CPU types. Search for “cloudflared-linux-arm“, tap and hold on to it, then copy its link address.

 

Step_ 4:- Open termux again and enter the command below to install Cloudflared-linux-arm in termux. and paste copy url / link termux

In command Step 1st In place of COPIED_URL, paste the URL you copied in step 3 and press Enter.

wget <COPIED_URL>

Example :

wget https://github.com/cloudflare/cloudflared/releases/download/2022.4.1/cloudflared-linux-arm

 

Step_ 5:- Make the file Executable Permission for easy use.

chmod +x cloudflared-linux-arm

 

Using CloudFlared :

Now turn on your Mobile Hotspot and copy and paste the given command on Termux to expose your localhost via Cloudflared.

./cloudflared-linux-arm http 4444
./cloudflared-linux-arm tunnel --url 127.0.0.1:4444

You can use any port number in place of 4444 and the rest will remain the same as in the command.

After executing the last command, you will get the desired link inside the box ending with trycloudflare.com.
Now you can send this link to anyone to access your locally hosted website.

Automatic Install

Step_ 1:- Update and Upgrade Termux to improve the term Avoid mistakes1 while Installing Cloudflare Identity Theft by stealing sensitive information.

apt update && apt upgrade -y

Step_ 2:- Install Cloudflare. This will add git, and wget to the termux that will be used when using the Cloudflare Installer. Once you have that, you can remove the name from the command during installation

apt install wget -y

 

Step_ 3:- Now Install Cloudflare tool File. Following the Commands.

wget https://gist.github.com/Erisa/4015ae12211434b8f2f64ac1d731b830/raw/d2c1d395bc4e66ff461effa883bc348fb96a4bc4/cfd-termux.sh

Step_ 4:- Use the Make Executable Permission this file. Following command.

chmod +x cfd-termux.sh

 

Step_ 5:- Enter the below command to set up the Termux Cloudflare tool in your Termux app and download the Requirement Package & Requirement file.

./cfd-termux.sh

 

Use Cloudflare :

cloudflared http 4444
cloudflared -url localhost:4444

 

Conclusion :

Ngrok is a popular port forwarding platform, but nowadays some people have problems using it. So you can use Cloudflared as an alternative to ngrok. Unlike ngrok, Cloudflared does not require the creation of any account to use for port forwarding purposes.
